Patriotic FireCracker Bookmark/Tag

Created this Patriotic FireCracker Bookmark/Tag using Tim Holtz FireCracker embossing border.

Stamped Hero Arts sentiment.

Punched stars. Inked white cardstock with gold ink to show thru where the stars were punched. Added ribbon. Frayed the ribbon.

I'm still reading Jane Eyre which I started on 6/12. I'm currently on chapter 20. My Cricut Explore Air Craftspace

This is my Cricut Explore Air craftspace. I moved my craft table bought at Michaels that I put together couple yrs ago when I got my first Cricut. I have since sold my former Cricut machines at yard sales. I am happy with the Cricut Explore Air. To use the online Design Space & Cricut Explore Air that has built in bluetooth the computer & Cricut have to bee within 15 ft of one another; thus the move of the craft table into my computer room space. I bought the Ott Light 2 wks ago on sale at JoAnns.

Look in the background and see Johnny Depp as The Mad Hatter life-size cardboard figure. Blockbuster when they were in business gave me the JD as TMH cardboard figure when I asked what they were going to do with it after DVD promotion. Guy asked if I wanted it and yes I would have wanted the Captain Jack Sparrow version more but I said yes to it.

Patriotic Pinwheels

Created these fun Pinwheels using subscribed Cricut cartridge When I Was A Kid. Recycled ice cream sticks for Pinwheel stick. Used a mini gold star in center of Pinwheel. Used Die-Namics Tag Stax for sentiment tag. Stamped Hero Arts sentiment. Attached sentiment tag to Pinwheel using Patriotic cord.

Photographed the Pinwheels placed in a yummy Central Market Tiramisu cupcake that hubby & daughter bought some of yesterday. We had dinner at Cafe Brazil and I had my leftover 1/2 of Club sandwich in a to go box so I sat in patio area and read while hubby & daughter went inside Central Market. I'm still reading Jane Eyre book and am on chapter 20. Did not think I would make it past the first couple chapters but it got much more interesting when Jane left the school where she was for 8 yrs and became a governess to an 11 yr old girl at Mr. Rochester's estate.
